44 Days Before My Second Debut: Congrats, ASAP!

First birthday of Kuya Chris with our office. CLEBM meeting, busy preparing the kits.
Yet, my mind is divided with office matters and the on-going election in BSU.

For the 7th time, ASAP again joined the Student Government Election. We dominated the Student Government for 7 times, but we headed the council for the first two years only. The next 5 times were very hard for the group to regain victory due to malicious issues being thrown to the group.

But with gathered effort of the people, who love this group, ASAP regain victory over PDM. A landslide victory for ASAP, taking 52 seats out of 74 seats occupied.

Congratulations to Ernest, the standard bearer; Jen, ASAP Chair; Ton, Alumni representative; Lovely, the person behind getting-back-to-the-system of ASAP; Kuya Jan, KALIPI Secretary General for your untiring support to ASAP, all the candidates and watchers and supporters.

Thank you to all the students who trusted ASAP. We will do our best to keep that trust and serve you better. Kayo ang Bida sa ASAP!

Congratulations, ASAP!

45 Days Before My Second Debut: Leaving and Changes

It's Ate Daye's last day in our office. She finally decided to work in a private company where she can spread her virus of hardwork, brilliance and wit. We will miss her, especially our conspiracy in all things.

KALIPI scheduled a mass movie watching of the much awaited movie of Sarah and John Lloyd, You Change My Life. It's a great movie though we love the first one, A Very Special Love. Many young people will surely relate to this movie. And of course, we love our 'friend' Sarah, and the super cute Lloydie.

48 Days Before My Second Debut: Mixed Emotions

Mad at Angel
I think, every child is curious of everything around them. But we already told Angel not to even touch our celphone because she might drop it. But this morning, Angel used my celphone and pressed its keys. When she returned it to me, all my messages were erased. I shouted at her on top of my lungs. She cried and stayed at the corner of our sofa. Poor Angel. Bad Mommy.

Disappointed
I was waiting for ‘him’, because I know, ‘he’ will be the only reason for me to smile that day. Sadly, ‘he’ did not appear.

Funny Pets
For those who are really close to our family, they knew that we are fond of taking care of animal pets. We have three dogs (Lei, Daniella and Haohao), three cats (Sandy, Maningning and Mayumi) and two pairs of love birds. I was alone in the living room that afternoon. Haohao was sleeping near the door, and usually, Lei and Daniella should be far from Haohao so they were sleeping near the kitchen area. I was going to sleep when Lei and Daniella suddenly woke up and barked to Haohao’s direction, as if someone is outside our house. Haohao woke up and looked at the two, then to the place that the two were barking at. The door was nearly shut so Haohao was just looking to a 1-foot opening. After a few seconds, Haohao looked at Lei and Daniella and as if asking them, "Who are you barking at? Can't you see, there is a dog sleeping here?!" I laughed hard at them and Lei and Daniella stopped barking then.

49 Days Before My Second Debut: City Life in Malolos

I had a long sleep after a sad night. I had 12 hours of sleep.

ASAP core group planned to have a gimmick. Lovely and I went to salon to pamper ourselves. I had foot spa and she made her nail art done.

After that, we went straight to Frequency located at the Cabanas. Cabanas is a new place in Malolos which is like Metrowalk in Ortigas. Anyway, we were invited by Lovely's kumare, who happens to be a partner of Frequency. We party all night, had a drink, and chatted with some new friends. We didn't enjoy much since it is a place for rich people.

Anyway, Jesie and I reconciled. Finally, I gave my forgiveness.

50 Days Before My Second Debut: Nobody

I got news from Nanay that Haohao striked again. Her victim was my mom. So right after I arrived home, I accompanied my mom to the hospital to get her anti-rabies shot.

That night, while watching Dream Girls, I was crying really hard. I don't know why. Is Dream Girls a sad movie? Certain sadness conquered me that I have to text a composed message to my dear friends of what I am feeling that night.

Sadly, nobody heed my call.

53 Days Before My Second Debut: Not so good event

While chatting with people in the pantry, the staff head talked to me. She said, I was not considered in the promotion since there is only one slot available. She asked me if it's ok with me. If you're in my position, what would you say?

I was rude to my boss. Sorry po.. I answered, "If it's not ok with me, can you do something about it?" Rude. Very rude. I realized my rudeness after that conversation. I wanted to curse my self. I shouldn't have done that. She is really good to me, and she just wanted to explain to me the situation.

Anyway, it's not ok with me, since, all along, I know, I was never appreciated. Especially because I know it was not her decision but my other boss who doesn't like me. Keber! But it's fine with me because my jolly sexy friend got the position. I am happy for her. She deserves it, more than I do.

56 Days Before My Second Debut: What's With This Day?

Nothing really important. But people are so busy. They are buying flowers. Dressed in red. Singing in the bathroom. Freaking out when cell phones beep. Smiling while reading the received message.

Gosh! Guilty, your honor! But contrary to most of the people who do these things today, I'm not going out on a date to celebrate the heart's day. Good luck everyone! Enjoy!

57 Days Before My Second Debut: Pre-Valentine Celebration

Our very generous lawyer, Atty. Abancio gave us his valentine gift, a 2-pc. Chicken McDo meal. I brought Angel to the office as usual, when we have 'fiesta' at the office. Fortunately, like her mommy, we are still Jollibee Kids.

Angel, who is seated in my swivel chair, was playing Insaniquarium in my computer. I told her to behave because my boss was at her back, talking to Ate Daye. But to my surprise, Angel said, "Good morning, boss."

58 Days Before My Second Debut: Sad News

I visited Tito Emmil at the hospital where he is staying for more than a week now. He was diagnosed with Acute Hemorrhagic Pancreatitis.

Tito Emmil is Ate Daye's uncle. I had pretty good times with Tito Emmil who is very jolly and energetic. He always teases me with that boyfriend issue. He is caring and thoughtful. He always entertains us with his jokes. He also loves taking pictures.

But the Tito Emmil I saw in the hospital is totally different. He was lying in the hospital bed with the tubes all over his body providing air, food, etc. to keep him alive. He was breathing so hard, as if he was running for air. Tita Sonia was talking to him. And he was crying. He was unconscious but I think he heard all the things Tita Sonia told him. And before I even speak to him, I was also crying. With just the sight of him in that condition breaks my heart. I can feel the pain. Hayy..

59 Days Before My Second Debut: Random Events

Tito Emmil's heart beat stopped. Ate Daye told me the news. Fortunately, after almost 15 minutes, he was revived.

-----------------

It's Kuya Eric's, Ate Sheryl's and Yams' birthday. Good health and happiness to you! May God bless you always.

-----------------

This is the first time that my little Angel did not ask for "dala".

60 Days Before My Second Debut: Favorites

I had lunch with Ate Judith, a former officemate. We went to Teriyaki Boy and I ordered my favorite California Maki.

Also that night, I get to watched two (2) of my favorite artists, Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga in their movie "Sana Maulit Muli". I didn't even notice that it was already midnight.

61 Days Before My Second Debut: Touched by A Hotdog

I was touch when I wake up this morning because my Nanay cook 2 hotdogs for my breakfast. Yummy! She also made baon for my cousin who is working in a supermarket.

62 Days Before My Second Debut: Wet Pillows

Today is not so good. I was supposed to be blessed because it’s a Sunday. But today is different. After lunch, I just felt a heavy heart, never noticed that tears are already falling. I tried to sleep to forget the loneliness in me, but after a while, I just have to force my self to wake up because my pillow is soaking wet (exaj). Worse, I did not go to church because I thought it will only make me cry more. Hayy..

63 Days Before My Second Debut: Birthday Gimmicks

Nothing important happened. I just attended my friend Jeff's and AK's birthday celebration. I was searching for my ever reliable friends but they are nowhere to be found. I guess they are busy with their personal matters. (And it's true.)

64 Days Before My Second Debut: ASAP Anniversary Celebration

Yesterday, Ernest handed me an invitation to the celebration of ASAP 6th Anniversary. I was part of the program. I will be delivering an ASAP testimonial. But since i wasn't informed ahead of time, I cannot be absent from work.

Though I didn't make it to the celebration, my brother, Kuya Jan attended the program.I ate dinner with Lovely and Third. Then they went to the ME night.

Meanwhile, some ASAP members visited me late that night and told me that the celebration wasn't that successful as what other people told me. Well, there is a problem inside the organization that sometimes, their projects are affected by the clashes.

Let's just hope that problems will be resolved so that the six years existence of the group won't be wasted.

65 Days Before My Second Debut: Another Admirer

Another guy expressed his interest of courting me in the person of a younger brother of a very close friend.

Actually, it didn’t came as a surprise since my friend (let’s call her M) already told me that his brother (let’s call him T) has a crush on me way back college days. Now that T will be graduating from college (he’s few years younger), he has the courage to tell me his feelings. But he’s not going to court me yet. He said that courtship is very expensive. He should be financially capable and emotionally stable first.

Gosh.. (Wala akong maisip para matapos ito…)

66 Days Before My Second Debut: Dating Game

There is this chain txt message I received that says: “Who do you think should be my Valentines date? Pass to your friends and see who has the most votes.” Well, as an unlitxt subscriber, I just did what the message told me to do.

Before the day ended, I got many answers, mostly fun answers.
--My officemate, Atty. Macy told me I look like Gabriella Montez of High School Musical so she thought; Troy Bolton would be the best date. Funny!
--A txtmate thought of Obama, Dingdong and Willie as my Valentines date. I said, Obama is too formal, Dingdong is Kapuso, I am Kapamilya, and Willie is in a relationship.
--My fanmate, girlfriend Bevy said she wants me to be happy so she would choose John Lloyd Cruz. Haha! I will be very happy if he’s my Valentino. That’s for sure.
--My brother Jan suggested Jericho Rosales so Ate Daye would get jealous. (Funny, Ate Daye and I had an earlier agreement. Lloydie is mine and Echo is hers.)
--A friend from far north (Jex) recommended one of their Provincial Board Member. Cute but not my type. (Naks!)
--Melody, a member of KALIPI-BSU proposed Sen. Chiz Escudero because she thinks that we can get along because we are both politically-inclined individuals. Hehe!
--Mandy, new friend suggested Jim Carrey because he wanted Ate Nysa to be happy.

--Other people offered themselves as my Valentines date: Aldrin, Richard, Nick, Marvin (also voted by his friend Poi), Philippe and Jelmer.

--Emmanuel, Allen, Fermil and Ate Elsa suggested their friends would be a great date for the Heart’s Day!

--My ever reliable friend, James said Edmund would make me happy. (Ows! Jealous!)
--My Tita Bhing told me that my best friend would be the best date. (My Tita knows best.)

--And the winner, Piolo Pascual. Hehe! Three of my friends voted for him. But it was a tie with my friend Amiel. Well, my anak-anakan in BSU and a college classmate chose him because we are close and we are both advisers of the two active organizations in BSU.

It was fun knowing my prospects. But unfortunately, I do not date on Heart’s Day unless you are my boyfriend.

67 Days Before My Second Debut: Love Hearts and Hurts

Good news!

My cousin Mark and Grace are officially on. My cousin texted me the good news that Grace finally gave her big and sweet “O-O”. Congrats cuz..!

----------------------------

Bad news!

Love team of Sally and Louie now parted ways. Event like this is really heartbreaking. Sally told me the news very late that evening. She couldn’t sleep and she’s crying. It’s really hard experiencing heartbreak. Very hard to sleep, eat, think clearly, laugh. Sometimes, you will be surprise that tears are falling even if you are watching a comedy program. The only thing that you can count on is your pillow that sometimes, you have to put under the sun to dry. I know. I’ve been there. I’ve done that.

68 Days Before My Second Debut: Panic and Appreciation

I have a seatmate in our service bus that experienced 'panic attack' this afternoon. She usually experiences this every time she will see the doctor or she receives bad news and she will relate herself with that news until she panics. Weird right?

What we do is we tell her happy stories until she calms.

----------------------

It’s ASAP 6th year anniversary! There are so many trials and problems met but this student party remains to be true to the students of BSU.

Cheers for another year of service to the students of BSU!

---------------------

Some ASAP and KALIPI members visited at our house. Mark Maclang invited me for a dinner. I was teary-eyed when he said, “Sagot ko na po, Ate Nysa. Lagi na lang ikaw eh. Para maramdaman mo naman ang mailibre naming mga anak mo.”

Now, I know, some of them appreciate my efforts and love for ASAP.

69 Days Before My Second Debut: Bonding

Bonding session with two of my dear friends, Lovely and Daisy.

Lovely and I watched Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. We also enjoyed KFC's snack box, Pasta Bowl and Jollibee's cheesy fries. In short, food trip. Underworld is good. I get to watch the first two related movies and this is supposed to be the first. So it's like a flash back of what really happened. While enjoying the movie, Lovely and I argued on some issues regarding ASAP, although it always happen, it's a good thing because we get to express our ideas on how to make ASAP better.

We parted early because I had to attend the mass at 7p.m. and she has a meeting with some of the poll watchers for the student elections.

After mass, I met up with Daisy and had dinner at Ompong’s.
