Pinili Kita

On Loving

Loving someone doesn't guarantee you of a happy ending. Yes, there are people who are blessed that they are loved as much as they love. They receive the joy that love is giving. They end up exchanging vows of forever. And there are some who are not lucky enough to be loved the way they love. They are those who never had a chance of receiving full happiness. They end up torn into pieces, never-ending sleepless nights, etc.

But there are special cases. It is when both people love each other, and circumstances prohibit them from being together. Yes, they are one with their feelings. They give strength to each other. They can surpass anything when they are together. But state of affairs will never allow them to end up happy. Love just isn’t enough to make them stay together. They can never share the promise of eternity. They can never grow old together.

They just can love one another from afar.

3 Days Before My Second Debut: 6 Things That Make Me Happy

Tagged by Ate Daye. Does she think I'm sad today?

This is called the "6 Things That Make Me Happy Tag." According to the rules, the things should be unimportant.

Here are the rules:* Mention the person who tagged you.* List 6 unimportant things that make you happy.* Tag 6 blogs, state the rules and notify them with a teeny comment on their blog.

Here's my six things of happiness:

1. I'm always waiting for a text from two of my very favorite texters. So you think they make me happy?

2. A gift on my birthday. (But this is important!)

3. Angel and her hugs and kisses. (This one is important too!)

4. Massage. It makes me forget my problems.

5. Jollibee spaghetti and KFC Chicken Gravy.

6. Tan line. I want to have that kind of line this summer.

Enjoy tagging!

44 Days Before My Second Debut: Congrats, ASAP!

First birthday of Kuya Chris with our office. CLEBM meeting, busy preparing the kits.
Yet, my mind is divided with office matters and the on-going election in BSU.

For the 7th time, ASAP again joined the Student Government Election. We dominated the Student Government for 7 times, but we headed the council for the first two years only. The next 5 times were very hard for the group to regain victory due to malicious issues being thrown to the group.

But with gathered effort of the people, who love this group, ASAP regain victory over PDM. A landslide victory for ASAP, taking 52 seats out of 74 seats occupied.

Congratulations to Ernest, the standard bearer; Jen, ASAP Chair; Ton, Alumni representative; Lovely, the person behind getting-back-to-the-system of ASAP; Kuya Jan, KALIPI Secretary General for your untiring support to ASAP, all the candidates and watchers and supporters.

Thank you to all the students who trusted ASAP. We will do our best to keep that trust and serve you better. Kayo ang Bida sa ASAP!

Congratulations, ASAP!

45 Days Before My Second Debut: Leaving and Changes

It's Ate Daye's last day in our office. She finally decided to work in a private company where she can spread her virus of hardwork, brilliance and wit. We will miss her, especially our conspiracy in all things.

KALIPI scheduled a mass movie watching of the much awaited movie of Sarah and John Lloyd, You Change My Life. It's a great movie though we love the first one, A Very Special Love. Many young people will surely relate to this movie. And of course, we love our 'friend' Sarah, and the super cute Lloydie.

48 Days Before My Second Debut: Mixed Emotions

Mad at Angel
I think, every child is curious of everything around them. But we already told Angel not to even touch our celphone because she might drop it. But this morning, Angel used my celphone and pressed its keys. When she returned it to me, all my messages were erased. I shouted at her on top of my lungs. She cried and stayed at the corner of our sofa. Poor Angel. Bad Mommy.

Disappointed
I was waiting for ‘him’, because I know, ‘he’ will be the only reason for me to smile that day. Sadly, ‘he’ did not appear.

Funny Pets
For those who are really close to our family, they knew that we are fond of taking care of animal pets. We have three dogs (Lei, Daniella and Haohao), three cats (Sandy, Maningning and Mayumi) and two pairs of love birds. I was alone in the living room that afternoon. Haohao was sleeping near the door, and usually, Lei and Daniella should be far from Haohao so they were sleeping near the kitchen area. I was going to sleep when Lei and Daniella suddenly woke up and barked to Haohao’s direction, as if someone is outside our house. Haohao woke up and looked at the two, then to the place that the two were barking at. The door was nearly shut so Haohao was just looking to a 1-foot opening. After a few seconds, Haohao looked at Lei and Daniella and as if asking them, "Who are you barking at? Can't you see, there is a dog sleeping here?!" I laughed hard at them and Lei and Daniella stopped barking then.

49 Days Before My Second Debut: City Life in Malolos

I had a long sleep after a sad night. I had 12 hours of sleep.

ASAP core group planned to have a gimmick. Lovely and I went to salon to pamper ourselves. I had foot spa and she made her nail art done.

After that, we went straight to Frequency located at the Cabanas. Cabanas is a new place in Malolos which is like Metrowalk in Ortigas. Anyway, we were invited by Lovely's kumare, who happens to be a partner of Frequency. We party all night, had a drink, and chatted with some new friends. We didn't enjoy much since it is a place for rich people.

Anyway, Jesie and I reconciled. Finally, I gave my forgiveness.

50 Days Before My Second Debut: Nobody

I got news from Nanay that Haohao striked again. Her victim was my mom. So right after I arrived home, I accompanied my mom to the hospital to get her anti-rabies shot.

That night, while watching Dream Girls, I was crying really hard. I don't know why. Is Dream Girls a sad movie? Certain sadness conquered me that I have to text a composed message to my dear friends of what I am feeling that night.

Sadly, nobody heed my call.
